As someone who loves being in direct touch with nature, I couldn't have chosen a better hotel in London. Located just steps away from the iconic Tate Modern, my stay at this hotel allowed me to immerse myself in the world of art and culture. The hotel's prime location also offered easy access to the Bankside pier for Thames Clipper and the Southwark tube, making transportation a non-issue. To top it off, there were supermarkets like Tesco Express and Sainsbury's nearby, ensuring that I could cater to my own needs during my stay.

The location was good as there were two supermarkets outside the hotel and it was close to some tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and breakfast had a good selection of fresh food.
The room was inadequate for a family, with a single set of towels and insufficient bedding. They were not able to address issues promptly or offer any apology.

Great location, quiet street, clean rooms. We were pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel, tucked away on a quiet street yet conveniently located near shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean, and we appreciated the handwash and shower amenities provided. The views of the nearby Shard from some of the rooms were a bonus!
Impersonal check-in, expensive for the location. Unfortunately, the check-in process was impersonal with no staff in sight.

We recently stayed at a budget hotel near Southwark tube station, and it was a fantastic experience. The location was very convenient, with easy access to the Jubilee line for exploring the city. We also found it convenient to have a bus stop nearby, particularly the one that takes you directly to Stansted airport. there was a large convenience shop just across the street, perfect for grabbing quick snacks. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of The Shard. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the buffet-style breakfast was tasty and fresh. a great budget option for a stay in this area.
The lack of lunchtime service, but with the convenient shop nearby, it wasn't a major issue.
